Driving progress to build a more sustainable future
Progressing on Our Net-Zero Ambition
Our Decarbonization Levers
Alternative Materials
Reducing the carbon footprint of our cement by optimising clinker content and increasing the use of supplementary and alternative materials. Through careful material selection and advanced mix design, we maintain performance while lowering emissions. This approach allows us to deliver high‑quality cement solutions that meet technical requirements while supporting more responsible construction.
Alternative Fuels & Energy Recovery
This approach allows us to utilise waste more efficiently while supporting more responsible resource management. At the same time, we recover energy from production processes, including the use of Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) technology, which converts excess heat into electricity. By combining alternative fuels with energy recovery, we improve overall efficiency, reduce energy demand and contribute to lowering emissions while maintaining stable and reliable production.
Transition to Lower-Carbon Transport
Reducing emissions across our logistics by optimising transport flows and integrating lower‑emission solutions into our fleet. From modern vehicle technologies to smarter planning of routes and deliveries, we aim to improve efficiency while minimising environmental impact. These efforts help us ensure that our products reach customers in a more responsible way.
